Privacy Policy

How Lumi B2B WholesaleHub handles information when you visit our website, use our Shopify app, or contact support.

Last updated: October 31, 2026

Who this policy covers

“Lumi,” “we,” and “our” refer to the team providing Lumi B2B WholesaleHub. This policy covers our website and app. Merchants decide how to use Lumi in their stores and remain responsible for their own customer privacy notices. When processing store customer information to provide app features, we act on the merchant’s instructions.

Information we process

The information involved depends on the permissions you authorize and the features you use. It can include:

  • Store and account details: your Shopify store identifier, domain, app settings, subscription information, and authentication information needed to connect the app.
  • Catalog and order details: products, variants, collections, prices, quantities, markets, discounts, order identifiers, and payment-term information.
  • Customer information: names, email addresses, business and contact details, customer tags, registration-form answers, and application status.
  • Communications: support messages and the details needed to send registration and payment-term emails you configure.
  • Technical information: request, device, and error information generated when our services are accessed, used to operate and troubleshoot them.

How information is used

We use information to provide the features merchants enable, apply wholesale rules, manage applications and customer status, send configured notifications, support app subscriptions, respond to questions, and investigate service errors or misuse. We also process information when needed to meet legal obligations and handle privacy requests.

Merchants should collect only information needed for their wholesale relationship and avoid requesting sensitive personal information in registration forms.

How information is shared

Information passes between Lumi and Shopify to provide the app’s features. Service providers that support hosting, storage, and email delivery may process information needed for those services. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to respond to a lawful request, protect the service, or resolve a dispute.

Shopify’s handling of information is described in Shopify’s Privacy Policy. A merchant’s store privacy policy governs the merchant’s relationship with its customers.

Storage and retention

Information is retained for the purposes described above, including operating an active installation, resolving support matters, and meeting legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of record and its purpose. Uninstalling the app stops continued authorized access; it does not itself erase records held by Shopify or the merchant.

Lumi supports Shopify’s customer data requests and customer and store deletion requests. Contact us if you need help requesting access or deletion. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own; contact us for information relevant to your store.

Your choices and requests

Merchants can manage app settings, review permissions in Shopify, and uninstall the app. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.

If you are a customer of a store using Lumi, contact that store first so it can identify your records and submit the appropriate request. You can also contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity or authority before fulfilling a request. Where applicable, you may raise concerns with your local data protection authority.

Cookies and service security

Shopify and connected services may use cookies or similar technologies to support authentication and service operation. Browser settings let you control cookies, although blocking necessary cookies may affect functionality. No method of internet transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.

Updates and contact

We may update this policy as the service or applicable requirements change. The date above identifies the latest revision. For privacy questions, email [email protected].
